The Nomad Collection

The Nomad Cowl

The Nomad Collection is cobbled together from bits of yarn tied end to end. I imagine that these are pieces that would be made by someone traveling by foot, slowly accumulating thread, fabric, and string. All the pieces in The Nomad Collection are super thick, random, and highly textured.

The Nomad Necklace

The Nomad Necklace is new for the spring. It is a tubular knitted necklace that has a big impact and huge tassels at each end.

Work Room Wednesday

Storage is a big component of any handmade business. I like to use clear bins so I can see the quantity of items I have at a glance. In January, my bins are filled with yarn and as I work through the spring and summer, they slowly fill with colorful hats and scarves :D

Etsy Tuesday

Soop has the greatest acrylic rings! After last year's busy season, I treated myself to these whimsical plastic beauties...and the coolest thing is they double as toys when my kids and I have a long wait in the grocery store line!

Soop really does offer the best acrylic rings. The quality is amazing and her service is top-notch. Yay for Soop!

PS. These are the 2011 Colorways for The Slouch Beanie and The Basic Beanie!
